Queens Marketplace 69-201 Waikoloa Beach Dr., Waikoloa🏃➡️ Lavaman Sunset 5K Fun Run/Walk 🏃♀️ The run is a fun 5K course through the Waikoloa Beach Resort featuring beautiful sunset views and a preview of the Lavaman Triathlon course. Registration Register Here $25 for adults $15 for ages 15 & under Race day Registration & Check-in will be held at Queens’ Marketplace from 3-4 PM, near Island Gourmet Markets. Race begins at 5:15 PM. Fundraiser The proceeds of the race benefit local non-profit organizations, PATH and LavaKids. PATH, People for Active Transportation Hawai’i, is a 30+ year old nonprofit organization. Their mission is to connect people and places with bikeways and walkways on Hawai’i Island. They believe safe, equitable transportation options promote healthy people, healthy communities, healthy land, and a healthy planet. They administer three programs: Biking and Pedestrian Safety Classes for Keiki and Adults, HIBIKE Bikeshare, and Vision Zero and Complete Streets Advocacy. The primary focus of the program is to create an easy to access calendar that encompasses all activities available for kids ages 7 to 18 on Big Island.
