2024 North Hawai’i Hospice Floating Lantern Ceremony

Join the North Hawai'i Hospice in this meaningful ceremony to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. There will be a sharing of lantern decorating, music, hula, taiko drummers, and Hawaiian chanting. Admission is free and open to all ages. Complimentary self- parking will be provided by Fairmont Orchid, but carpooling is encouraged. Food will not be sold at the event, but the property's restaurants will be open for your dining pleasure. Lanterns: The pre-sale of lanterns is closed. Rest assured, plenty of lanterns will be available at the event for a suggested donation of $25 Parking: To make your arrival to the event as smooth as possible, we encourage carpooling. The Fairmont has generously offered complimentary valet and self-parking for all volunteers and attendees. For those who need it, there is a large, designated section at the southwest end of the parking lot (by the event entrance) for handicapped parking. Please note that valet parking, while available, is not the closest to the event. If you choose this option, a gratuity would be appreciated for the hardworking Fairmont staff. Food and Beverage: Please plan ahead. While food will not be sold at the event, ample water stations will be available to our attendees.
