2024 North Hawai’i Hospice Floating Lantern Ceremony
Join the North Hawai'i Hospice in this meaningful ceremony to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. There will be a sharing of lantern decorating, music, hula, taiko drummers, and Hawaiian chanting. Admission is free and open to all ages. Complimentary self- parking will be provided by Fairmont Orchid, but carpooling is encouraged. Food will not be sold at the event, but the property's restaurants will be open for your dining pleasure. Lanterns: The pre-sale of lanterns is closed. Rest assured, plenty of lanterns will be available at the event for a suggested donation of $25 Parking: To make your arrival to the event as smooth as possible, we encourage carpooling. The Fairmont has generously offered complimentary valet and self-parking for all volunteers and attendees. For those who need it, there is a large, designated section at the southwest end of the parking lot (by the event entrance) for handicapped parking. Please note that valet parking, while available, is not the closest to the event. If you choose this option, a gratuity would be appreciated for the hardworking Fairmont staff. Food and Beverage: Please plan ahead. While food will not be sold at the event, ample water stations will be available to our attendees. Join the Spooktacular Halloween Activities at Kings' Shops! From October 27 to 31, enjoy a range of thrilling events, including "The Great Escape" with the Hawaii Keiki Museum, voting on a pumpkin decorating contestwith prizes, Trick or Treating, and a special HALLO-WINE event for adults. Note: activity times vary. The Great Escape Challenge yourself with quizzes and puzzles created by the Hawaii Keiki Museum from October 27-31. Navigate the shops to solve exciting challenges, with prizes and a chance to win a $150 giveaway! FREE for all—sign up at the Hawaii Keiki Museum to join the adventure. Pumpkin Decorating Contest Starting October 29, vote for your favorite pumpkin decorations showcased by retailers. Voting runs until 8 PM on October 31, with three lucky voters winning gift cards valued at $150, $75, and $50! Follow us on social media for the winner announcements. Trick or Treating & Golden Tickets On October 31, visit 15 Trick or Treat stops for candy and fun!
