Purchasing your first home can be an exciting but intimidating experience. People often ask themselves, where do I start? Choosing a trusted Real Estate Agent that will guide you each step of the way can make this a prosperous experience. For most, purchasing a home is a once in a lifetime investment and not something you would want to go into blindly.
Creating your team
During this process, you will be building a team of professionals to help you purchase your home with the least amount of bumps in the road. Your Real Estate Agent will be the first person on your team. Secondly, we will add your mortgage broker who will give us the amount you can afford and work with you on gathering all your documents. You will also be adding Title/Escrow company, home inspector, license professional land surveyor and others that will be part of the transaction. Of course, your Real Estate Agent will guide you from start to finish.

How Much Will Working With a Realtor Cost?
Common question asked… How much will it cost out of my pocket? Great news, the buyers agent normally gets paid by the seller. There are some unlikely and very rate situations and the details of those exceptions will be explained to you during your buyers consultation. Basically you will have a licensed professional working for you that someone else pays for. Why wouldn’t you want to use a Realtor?
Choosing a Mortgage Broker
When working with your mortgage broker they will go over the different products available and shop around to find the best option for you. They are also able to find you a product that could be little or no out-of-pocket expenses. Your home loan can make or break your purchase, so ensuring that you chose a great person who knows what they’re doing is very crucial.
When my husband and I purchased our first property, we had a great real estate agent. She truly went above and beyond our expectations. While we were experiencing difficulties with our mortgage broker, she made sure that we would get through this process. Everything worked out in the end, but going through that experience motivated me to ensure my clients that they would have a better experience during the purchase of their home.
